it may just be that this distinction was overlooked at the pre-registration site. maybe an event planner can jump in and clarify. you might just have your own class after all.

That said, if they are lumped together it's not that big of a deal. ALL mk1's are lumped together... whether it's a truck, a sedan, or a hatchback. lol. Further, Scirocco 1's & 2's are together, and they're very different body styles, etc. Generally speaking the mk5/6 share alot of style/platform,etc. in context of the other generations of dubs.
