FREE PARTS Recycling table again this year

Gontina Building & Design is once again hosting the recycling program for the show and setting up the free parts table.

Please bring your VAG related parts and accessories that are taking up space in your garage, living room, or bedroom and leave them free for others to use on their projects.

Does car detailing products and OEM H7 buls work as well? I have some of the stuff I do not use anymore (as i switched product line) and rather have someone else use it vs tossing it.

i may bring the mk1 interior and a bunch of car cleaning suff and some floor mats.. we drop this off and if it dosent get grabbed up then you tak eit all and recycle it right?

I have some stuff that I think that I might bring, not all necessarily VAG stuff though. Possibly some cleaning stuff, and I have some foglight bulbs.

Well, the idea is that you bring stuff for someone else to get some use out of.
I prefer that you take back what you bring if it isn't claimed by someone else. I will recycle what I can within reason, but most everything that is left over gets trashed. I don't have time to pick it apart and sort out metal from plastics, etc. Some stuff will get left by my curb for the scrap guys, but for the most part I don't care to haul away other people's unwanted parts.

only thing i have that might be of use is a broken sunroof from an MK3. it vents fine but the dealer i bought it from broke one of the pull arms so it needs help closing. the glass is fine and it's just the roof. no motor. should i throw that in there?

I have some old bug parts to drop off. Looking for a bug ignition key buzzer. Maybe an old buzzer from a watercooled VW would work in a bug. Talked to Chris at Munk's & S&G in Berkley who said that I'm the first person that asked for one. Guess nobody wants one but me. See ya all tomorrow, beetledon
