Spammers vs. MIVE

In the past few months, MIVE has been hit with an onslaught of Spammers. From creating accounts, to the latest problem; they've managed to install a back door into the site to allow them access. They keep installing mailer scripts that is using MIVE as a means to send out spam. This is bad, for us anyway. We have taken measures with our webhost to ensure the board will stay secure. In the interim, their may be some issues regarding what's being allowed to send eg., it looks like one of the triggers the filter is not allowing through currently are words like "Paypal" in messages and posts.

Please be patient during this phase, and hopefully this will be cleared up shortly.
