  • 'Night Fury'...

My youngest daughter likes 'How to Train a Dragon' so:

On the way home from Mentor Ohio, where I got her (the car, that is).

I am amazed at how good this car is stock! I will mod very carefully...so much is already right with this R

Damn, that looks really nice in black. Very understated.

Yep-back in black, same as my MKIV R32.
Just installed these Eurocode strut braces-high quality pieces. The front should help at the track-rear maybe..

A few more mods coming, but I will let Dan do the heavy lifting there

These are such nice cars. Almost too understated, but I like that.

The understated, or 'Q-Ship' nature of the R cars is why I love 'em so much! Oh, the cars that have had to point by my annoying little VW hatches....

Question: Anybody ever used these guys for any work? http://ccpcoatings.com/coatings.php

I would like to put a ceramic coating on my 42DD downpipe (before Dan installs it).

            Thanks!

Cool stuff. What do the control arms do? Change suspension geometry?

Yup. More Caster and negative camber.

They also remove a great deal of bushing slop vs OEM

I had them on my MK6 R as well. Very noticeable improvement in steering feel and suspension grip/tracking-especially under track conditions.

There is a small increase in NVH, but worth it to me.

                    Plus....they look cool
