My sentiments as well, but I'm an avowed "grumpy old white guy"...

          ???

Yeah from what I heard with the voting is my car was voted in the a4 and the a6 category because they were both listed as the same number and both had allroad listed. So anyone that was voted in the a6 category for me was thrown out, which made me sad.

Anyways, the final touches to the vehicle before Motorstadt this year, got a set of Rotiform RSE's. They are 20x10 on 255/30's I've been afraid of destroying them, but it hasn't been so bad so far

Finishing it off though, I did end up getting my Matrix LED's back. The Matrix function isn't working still so I only have low beams, but I do have these which look cool:

And the final product at Motorstadt, which by the way, still looking for more pictures of that show.

Do the headlights have little ducts for airflow or something..? Lovin' the rubberbands man.

Naw, they just have interesting grooves with the bumper in order to catch bugs and get them jammed in there.

I was trying to say how amazing those headlights are. I showed my wife, who doesn't care about cars all that much and she was quite impressed. For some reason, I wasn't able to post from iPhone + safari, so I gave up. Great car and build!

Today's the day! The Matrix LED retrofit is finally complete. Not dark enough yet to see how well they are calibrated and how many people I can blind, but finally it's done!

Here's a crappy video of night driving. The matrix LEDs are definitely something awesome that should be legal here in the states...
