I really dig the powder coat. It is almost exactly like the finish VAG uses on the 225hp TT boost tube and many others

I have no connection to the burn outs Drew. In fact I was sitting on my deck when one was created and I found it very unnecessary.

Was it one of the clapped out 90's pick ups with a pea shooter exhaust? We have a few of those that come by loud as can be but not moving very fast.

                          Thanks Justyn.

The car is all together and pretty much all the bugs are worked out. I daily drove it for the past few days and it's a riot. With the Unitronic tune installed we should be making about 230hp but it feels like more. Since we are still running a short ratio 16v trans first and second gear are pretty much worthless for acceleration. It just spins the tires and makes fun whoosh noises. I'm sure that will improve when we have some tires on there that aren't 15 years old. Cruising on the highway at 70 mph can dip into the throttle just a small amount and it rips up to 90 mph in no time. I can't wait to get it on the track and see how she does.
