    • Jealous of the insulated garage...and the time you have to work in it.

      • I have been been working on some house stuff for the past week or so which is now complete so I can get back to this. I hope to get out there tonight and see if my garage door insulation project helped at all.

          • I managed to get out to the garage for a bit last night. I didn't get much done with the old Jetta. My snow blower was still up on a shelf and needed to come down.
The other day I realized at the end of the season last year I noticed the auger was very rusty bent and broken in a couple spots. I was just going to bend it back to shape and weld it back together until I found out I could get one in good shape shipped for $50.
So I spent some time tearing that apart in anticipation of the replacement showing up soon.
When that was done, I threw the harness back in the bay so I could figure out where the bits I was adding/forgot to put in we're going to go. Pulled it back out again, gathered what I would need and brought it all inside to stay warm. It will be much easier to work with this stuff when it's warm and I'm not burning propane in the garage. Tonight I will be finishing the harness for the last time.

              • Is that lacing or is there a tracer in the loom?

                Looks great either way

This is not techflex. I got it from McMaster-Carr

                          • Ah, similar looking products. Harness does look nice either way. How is it going to be routed into the bay, though the frame rail?
