Finally, a TDI! (Another MK4 pt. 2)

I have been saving and searching for a TDI since my accident in June. It figures that 2 weeks after I buy a car to be my daily( '01 GTI VR6) that my dad goes and buys a new passat. He knew I wanted a TDI, so he made me an offer I can't refuse. I really wanted a 4 door 5 speed Golf TDI, But those are very expensive.

Galactic blue, grey velour, ALL stock with 225,000 miles.

I will need to do some work on it, rear beam bushings, rear brakes, tear apart and clean the intake. Fix all of the codes, and refurbish the vacuum system.

My plan is for super mileage, decent looks and comfort. I drive up to 1500 miles a week at times, so mileage will be the key here. I'm Hoping suspension and wheels somewhat like my '99.5 that I totaled. I'll put my hitch on it, and drive the crap out of it!

I'm pretty sure a few mods, can improve that quite a bit... damn stupid cr tdi's...

yeah, I am hoping. wheel bearings are not silent, so I am thinking that will bring it up a little bit, and as always lower is better lol

hah, no! Thanks though, it has taken some abuse in Detroit over the years, but overall is pretty decent still. How much for the avus? Never hurts to have spare wheels!

Since nick already has DEEZL, I'm thinking DZL DUB or OILBRNR for my plate. I think the GTI will be getting the VRBOTN1 plate and the Cabrio will be sold. I was originally thinking DEEZEL but can't make mine that close lol
