Does anyone know the difference between these two front upper strut mounts? Both seem to fit nicely in the "pocket" on my mk2.

Left are MKII, right are MKIII. Go with the MKIII, they will last longer. You will need the bearings for those bushings.
      Bad decisions make excellent stories.

Thanks! I have the bearings for the mk3 ones on the coilovers. I was wondering if they would work or not. I will use the mk3 ones.

Thanks! I've been getting a lot done. New radiator, all new radiator and heater hose, new vac lines, full stereo system wired in (nothing crazy). Working on the coilover install and new cv axles currently. Probably wont get to all the stuff i wanted to so it will be kinda ugly for the summer! I was not aware that cars like mine could attend buses.

I am considering changing to a steering wheel with some "dish" to it. I am quite tall but i like the wheel to be a bit closer to me while driving. Anyone ever have a deep dish wheel in an mk2?

I like that idea but i also dont think the little 1.8 would like it very much!

I got the bilstiens mounted and all four corners within an 1/8 inch of each other. Took it around the block for a quick blast. Rides firm for sure but not bad at all. Felt light in the back around corners. Needs to be aligned. Considering some small spacers to bump the wheels out a bit.

Knocked out the rear wheel bearings tonight. Easy stuff. Also, those lights are probably happening and mud flaps...sacrilege or something? Meh, its gonna get ran on the dirt anyway.
