  • iOS 8 update: do it or wait?

    What's your thoughts on the iOS 8 update, should I update or not on my 5s?

    do it. there's really no reason not to on the 5s

          All good. I think there have been a bunch of sub-updates since then and apps fixed.

                    I never did the upgrade on my 4s.. I knew I was picking up a iphone 6. Love the 6 btw and the new iOS

                      Haven't done it on my 5 because I don't have 4.8 gb of storage space available
                      Tuned and deleted Super Duty, An old Chevy with a Cummins, my wife's Volvo, a 5th wheel and a boat. I like to drink and work. My family is cool too.

                        Two things.. 1. I highly suggest you Don't upgrade your 4s to iOS8. Lisa did and her phone ran dirtass slow. It was horrible. So she was basically forced to get a new phone. It was real bad.
                        2. You don't need that 4.whatever gb of empty storage to do the update. Plug your phone into your computer and do the update through your computer. You only need that space if doing the update over wireless.

                              That's good to know. My wife tried and ran into the same problem as Rob did. I guess she will have to get the 6.
